I don't usually watch Survivor. In fact, with the exception of Idols, I tend to avoid reality tv like I avoid going to see a doctor. But this season of Survivor interested me because Boston Rob was back. The last time I watched Survivor was when he did the All Stars, which was back in the day before my folks decided to get Satellite tv, before I had the internet, and before I learnt all about sparrowing entertainment.

I am not sure if I can explain why I like him. I can't say I think he is sexy and I can't say that his accent doesn't make me want to give him elocution lessons. But there is something about him that I do fancy. I think it has something to do with the fact that although he isn't overly educated, he is no fool. I respect street smarts, I respect physical ability and I respect wisdom. And as strange as I am finding it to type this, Boston Rob really fell into those categories - or at least for me.

And now the idiots of the Villain tribe voted him off.

I am not going to watch any more.

But if Jerry thinks that she can trust the Hobbit on Crack (Rob's term for Russell), more than she could have trusted Rob, they should write her name down next for being an utter idiot. Honestly. What an idiot. Does she really think that Russell is not in it to win it all for himself too? And all she did was play into his hands.

Oh well. As I said, I am not going to watch any more. There is nothing left to enjoy.

ETA: I suppose everyone has heard that dear SMeyer has another story out. Will the nightmare never end? (Apologies to the few Twilight fans on my flist)

I prefer to look at the SMeyer phenomenon more hopefully. If she can get that utter tripe published, then there's more than a little hope for all of us with our various writing projects.

LOL! You and me both. I also figure that if she can get her drivel published then we definitely can.

On with more writing then!
